Owner Dan Poschwatta:

My interests in auto mechanics began after purchasing my first car a 1972 Nova when I was 15. With a bad motor and plenty of other repairs needed, I began to take as many Auto Shop classes at OCHS from 1989 to 1991 as I could.

By the end of 1991 I had won the CCC automotive skills competition and did very will competing in the AAA Chrysler Trouble shooting contest, Benson Skills, and Mt Hood Skills competitions.

I had applied for scholarships and they covered the 2 years spent at CCC earning my associates degree in Auto Mechanics. Later on earning "ASE Master Tech" with L1 Advanced Engine Performance.

After working for various independent shops and one dealership, I decided to start my own repair shop called 2000 Auto Repair in May of 2000. I also work as part time instructor for Clackamas Community College.
